Viterbo’s annual Fresh Check Day event will be help April 27 from 3–6 p.m. in the Murphy Courtyard (between VAC and Murphy Center). Stop by with your friends for some free food and fun as you engage in activities that promote good mental health and suicide prevention efforts. There will be awesome give-aways (Amazon Fire Tablet, hammocks, potted plants, Viterbo swag, etc.). Monkey Business Food Truck will also be whipping up some amazing food (not free) to help celebrate the occasion. Rain location will be in the Mathy Center.
Remember to vote this week for your Student Government Association (SGA) representatives for the 2022–23 academic year. Students may vote once via this link. The election window will close at midnight on Friday, April 15 and results will be announced after the break.
The recreation department is sponsoring a Spring Golf Scramble at Forest Hills Golf Course on Tuesday, April 26 beginning at 4 p.m. Cost to Viterbo students is $10. Registration is open and closes on Tuesday, April 19.
The 2022 Spring Community Conversation on Servant Leadership is on Wednesday, April 13 from 7–9:30 a.m., Nursing Center Room 196. The theme is Building Community through Servant Leadership. Veterans and military aligned students: The La Crosse County Veterans Services Office (CVSO) is offering monthly on-campus appointments to discuss a wide variety of military benefit topics. These will include assistance with Military Education Benefits, Medical and Dental Benefits, Service Connected Disability claims, Military Records, and many more. The next round of one-hour appointments is Thursday, April 14 between noon–4 p.m. in the Military Aligned Student Center (Reinhart 006B). The DB Reinhart Institute for Ethics in Leadership invites students to apply for 9 or 12-month undergraduate and graduate fellowships beginning in June or August 2022.
