VOICEPLAY TO PERFORM AT VITERBO UNIVERSITY APRIL 16

LA CROSSE, Wis. – VoicePlay, the amazing a cappella quintet that must be heard to be believed, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 16 in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.

As seen on Season 4 of NBC’s The Sing-Off, VoicePlay is unlike any theatrical experience available today, recreating the orchestrated sound of an entire musical production with nothing but the human voice.

VoicePlay began as a street corner barbershop act, and today performs their own incredible brand of entertainment across the country and around the world. Their shows have been described as amazing and humorous, and include vertigo-inducing harmonies that pepper their music-without-music sound as it ping-pongs between eras and styles, channeling the breadth of the musical landscape and lacing it with inventive and often hilarious on-stage theatrics.

This performance is part of Viterbo’s NexStar season and is sponsored in part by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts. Mid-West Family Broadcasting is the media sponsor.

Tickets are $34 for main floor, $30 for lower balcony, and $24 for upper balcony seating. For more information or to order tickets, contact the Viterbo box office at 608-796-3100 or visit www.viterbo.edu/tickets.
