One hundred thirty-eight undergraduate students and 38 master’s degree students will be candidates for graduation at Viterbo University’s winter commencement ceremony at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14 in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.
All faculty, administrators, and staff are invited to participate. Participants should gather in the Fine Arts Center dance studio by 10:45 a.m. There will not be secure storage for personal items.
The same tips that apply to graduates wearing caps and gowns also apply to wearing academic regalia. Gowns should be pressed and worn with dark pants or hosiery and dark shoes. Caps should be worn level, and no jewelry or other adornments should be worn with the gowns.
Marshals will lead the participants in and out of the main theatre for the ceremony. Faculty/administrator/staff participants will form a line in the hallway outside of the theatre that the graduates will pass as they exit. The line may need to form two or three people deep. Faculty are encouraged to applaud the graduates as they exit into the lobby.
The day will begin with a Baccalaureate Mass at 9:30 a.m. in San Damiano Chapel.
