Pause for Paws

  • A chance to unwind and de-stress with a friendly visit from our favorite four-legged friends from the Coulee Region Humane Society. All dogs are registered therapy animals. The event is free.
    • Time: 3:30–5 p.m.
    • Dates:
      • Tuesday, Nov. 12 on the Brophy Center Patio (or lobby in case of inclement weather)
      • Monday, Dec. 2 in the School of Nursing Building Lobby

Self Defense Lessons

  • Hosted by Donald from H&H Karate. Learn the basics of self-defense such as disarming, blocking, kicking, punching, escaping an attack, and more in order to protect yourself. No registration necessary. Free for students.
    • Location: Mathy Multipurpose Room
    • 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23 and Wednesday, Nov. 13

Fresh Check Day 

  • Join the Rec at the Boost booth on Fresh Check Day for some quick demos and information on the ways exercise can help the mind, as well as what we offer on campus. Wednesday, Oct. 23 from 2–5 p.m. between Murphy Center and the Varsity Athletic Centers (VAC lobby in the case of inclement weather).
  • Alternative Care Fair
    • Thursday, Oct. 24 from 2­–5 p.m. Fine Arts Center FSPA Lobby
    • Learn about a variety of Natural Health Options from various community members/businesses.
    • Featuring yoga, massage, chiropractic, acupuncture, essential oils, CBD information, and more.
