VITERBO UNIVERSITY WINTER COMMENCEMENT DEC. 18
LA CROSSE, Wis. – One hundred eleven undergraduate students and 54 graduate degree students will be candidates for graduation at Viterbo University’s winter commencement ceremony at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18 in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.
Sara Cook, vice president for academics, will serve as Master of Ceremonies. Remy Jankowski, an elementary education major, will give the undergraduate student address and Paul Deutsch, who will earn a EdD in counselor education and supervision, will give the graduate student address.
President Rick Trietley will confer the degrees and diplomas will be awarded by President Trietley and John McHugh, chair of the board of trustees. McHugh will also provide congratulatory remarks and Fr. Conrad Targonski, OFM, will give the benediction. Kathy Duerwachter, director of alumni relations, will lead the Prayer of St. Francis.
The day will begin with a Baccalaureate Mass at 9 a.m. in San Damiano Chapel. A pinning ceremony for Bachelor of Science in Nursing students will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.
