VITERBO UNIVERSITY FINE ARTS CENTER ANNOUNCES 2024–25 SEASON
Illusions, Dragons, and Icons–A Season for All

LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Viterbo University Fine Arts Center welcomes audiences for its 2024–25 season. The lineup features a diverse array of productions, including renowned icons, unforgettable tributes to music legends, and family-friendly entertainment options.

“We are thrilled to unveil a lineup that truly embodies the spirit of inclusivity and excellence,” said Dillon McArdle, director of the Viterbo Fine Arts Center. “It is because of the dedication of our audience members that we are able to continually present world-class artists for your enjoyment and cultural enrichment. We cordially invite you to explore the full breadth of our Season for All.”

There are four categories this season: Bright Star, Weber Center, Viterbo’s Conservatory for the Performing Arts, and Special Presentations.

Group sales begin Friday, June 14. Ten tickets or more per show receive 20% off single ticket prices. All single tickets go on sale Monday, June 17. 

The Bright Star season features Grammy Award nominee Gavin DeGraw; The Beat Goes On Featuring Lisa McClowry as Cher; Grammy Award-nominated Yonder Mountain String Band; Grammy Award-nominated Little River Band; Nurse Blake: Shock Advised Tour; A jazzy and fun Christmas special A Swingin’ Little Christmas Starring Jane Lynch featuring Kate Flannery and Tim Davis with The Tony Guerrero Quintet; a fantastical show for the whole family, Dragons and Mythical Beats LIVEThe Magic of Bill Blagg LIVE, a unique style of magic and illusion; The Music of Billy Joel & Elton John Starring Michael Cavanaugh who was hand-picked by Billy Joel for the lead in the hit Broadway musical Movin’ Out; The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain’s 40th anniversary tour; Step Afrika!, a performance integrating dance, songs, storytelling, and humor; and iLuminate, as seen on America’s Got Talent–dancers in glow-in-the-dark suits performing dynamic routines and illusions.

The Viterbo Fine Arts Center will present five performances in the Weber Center for the Performing Arts Lyche Theatre as part of its Weber Center Season: Stand-up comedian Paula Poundstone; Alive Again: A Tribute to Chicago; The play All Things Equal: The Life & Trials of Ruth Bader Ginsburg; Lisa Rock in Close to You: The Music of The Carpenters; and Uptown, a group of men who combine the smooth stylings of R&B with the fresh hits of today.

Viterbo’s Conservatory for the Performing Arts will present the musical thriller, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street; the comedic play Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead; A Viterbo Christmas: Star of Wonder, an annual tradition of music and storytelling; These Shining Lives, a play based on a true story of the radium industry’s shimmering promise and withering betrayal; The Marriage of Figaro, a playful romp of mistaken identity; Nickelodeon’s The SpongeBob Musical; Dance Kaleidoscope 2025 with a focus on movement, music, and exceptional technique.

Special Presentations this year feature the United States Air Force Band of Mid-America; Missoula Children’s Theatre’s musical with and for area youth, Treasure Island; New York pianist and La Crosse native Dave Marck and Friends Present Stardust: A Celebration of Hoagy Carmichael; and La Crosse Dance Centre’s 35th Annual Nutcracker Ballet.
