VITERBO UNIVERSITY FALL ALUMNI CONCERT OCT. 14
LA CROSSE, Wis. – Viterbo University’s Concert Choir, 9th Street Singers, and Choral Arts community group will perform a fall concert at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14 in Mary of the Angels Chapel at St. Rose Convent.
“Viterbo’s fall choir concert is an opportunity to celebrate our musical traditions alongside our graduates from previous years,” said James Wilson, Viterbo faculty member and director of choral studies. “Our alumni are invited to join us on the last two numbers of the program, Mendelssohn’s How Lovely Are the Messengers and Damon Dandridge’s arrangement of the powerful spiritual I Know I’ve Been Changed.”
The Viterbo Concert Choir will perform works by Anton Bruckner, Rene Clausen, and David Dickau. The 9th Street Singers will present a wide array of works from Josquin des Prez to Vytausus Miskinis to Mack Wilberg.
The event is free and open to the public, but seating is limited and offered on a first-come-first-served basis.
