The Wisconsin State Student Nurse convention was held Feb. 5–7 in Wisconsin Dells. There were over 300 students from across the state that attended, included 30 Viterbo nursing students and four advisors, Delayne Vogel, Julie Meyers, Susan Cieslicki, and Brandy Cleveland.
At the banquet on Sunday morning the Viterbo Student Nurses Association received two statewide honors, the Chapter Achievement Award (which recognized the group’s participation in efforts such as Rotary Lights, the Dance Marathon of Children’s Miracle Network, etc.) and the School Spirit Award, which is determined by the number of students serving on the WSNA Board, attending the convention, etc.
Viterbo sophomore Chantal Danner was one of only three students to receive a $500 scholarship.
“As advisors, we are very proud of these students and the leadership they continue to demonstrate year after year,” said Vogel, nursing.
