SERIES TO FEATURE PIANO TANGO NOV. 17

LA CROSSE, Wis. ­– The Viterbo University Chamber
Music Series will continue with Piano
Tango at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17 in the Fine Arts Center Recital Hall.

Pianists
Mary Ellen Haupert, Viterbo music faculty member, and Owen Lovell, University
of Wisconsin-Eau Claire faculty member, will perform a two-piano, four-hand
concert featuring Copland’s Danzon Cubano
and arrangements of tangos by Astor Piazzolla.

“The
concert program has broad appeal with its catchy rhythms and melodies,” Haupert
said.
