TANGO FIRE TO PERFORM AT VITERBO UNIVERSITY OCT. 16

LA
CROSSE, Wis. – The Tango Fire Company of Buenos Aires, Argentina, will
bring the smoldering art form of tango to the Viterbo University Fine Arts
Center stage at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16 for a performance that has been
described as “fiery, seductive, and irresistible.”

Formed in 2005, Tango Fire consists
of 10 outstanding dancers and four brilliant musicians led by acclaimed
choreographer and dancer German Cornejo. Their performances trace the history
of the art form from its beginnings on the streets of Buenos Aires through its
evolution into modern ballroom styles.

Tango Fire has garnered rave reviews while performing
around the world in some of the most prestigious international venues.

Tango Fire is part of Viterbo’s Bright Star Season
and is sponsored in part by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board, with funds
from the State of Wisconsin. FOX 25-48 is the media sponsor.

Tickets are $38 for main floor, $34 for lower balcony,
