Sonja Larson has been blessed with a world of opportunity. She traveled to Poland, Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, and England during her research project “Music of the Holocaust: A Means of Survival,” which she presented at the Fifth Warsaw Conference for Young Jewish Studies Researchers. She visited Auschwitz and other concentration camps and spoke with survivors. Her efforts even resulted in her being awarded a prestigious Fulbright Scholarship. Financial support from scholarships made her education-enriching travel possible. Now she wants to use what she learned to make a difference in the world.
