Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics trainers Katelyn Stutterheim and Blake Jackson will present “The Seven Principles of Leave No Trace” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24 in the Viterbo University Reinhart Center room 107.
The member-driven Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics teaches people of all ages how to enjoy the outdoors responsibly. It is the most widely accepted outdoor ethics program used on public lands. Through relevant and targeted education, research, and outreach, the Center ensures the long-term health of our natural world. Leave No Trace is about “making good decisions to protect the world around you, the world we all enjoy.”
This D.B. Reinhart Center for Ethics in Leadership presentation is co-sponsored by the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse recreation management and therapeutic recreation department.
