RAVE ON! THE BUDDY HOLLY EXPERIENCE AT VITERBO JAN. 17

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Forget the ordinary rock tribute show—Rave On! The Buddy Holly Experience reinvents the genre with an electrifying, high-energy, rock n’ roll extravaganza featuring the country’s premiere Buddy Holly interpreter, Billy McGuigan. McGuigan and the outstanding musicians who make up the Rave On Band will ignite the stage in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17.

Audiences will experience the thrill of a Buddy Holly concert, which will include hits such as Peggy Sue, Raining in My Heart, It’s So Easy, That’ll Be the Day, True Love Ways, Oh Boy, and Rave On. The show will also pay tribute to other iconic fellow rockers Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Ritchie Valens, and The Big Bopper.

McGuigan has received national attention and critical acclaim for his portrayal of the legendary Buddy Holly, and audiences continue to be awed by his energy, realism, sincerity, and talent.

This performance is part of Viterbo’s NexStar Season and is sponsored by Firefighters Credit Union, US Bank, and in part by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts. WXOW TV 19 and La Crosse Radio Group are the media sponsors.
