Ramp Up the Conversation

Tuesday, December 10, 2019

More than 70 practicing interpreters, students of interpreting studies, and interpreting service providers gathered for the second annual Ramp Up the Conversation Conference at Viterbo April 27. Fourteen students of the community interpreting certificate program presented their undergraduate action research to healthcare, court, and community interpreters from across the Midwest. These projects examined language access services in local real estate agencies, dairy farms, dentist offices, pharmacies, libraries and the Department of Natural Resources in the West Central area of Wisconsin.
