Franciscan Hospitality

Thank you for the generous dose of Franciscan hospitality that was readily evident throughout the first days of the new academic year. Special thanks for the warm welcome extended to our new faculty, administrators, and staff during orientation to mission and during in-service week. Families of new students mentioned frequently the welcoming and helpful spirit of the residence life staff, orientation team leaders, physical plant and IIT staff, and those in admission, financial aid, and business offices. An alumna parent and the parents from a long line of family graduates of Viterbo stopped me after Friday’s Welcome and Blessing Ceremony to comment on the beautiful and sacred induction into the Viterbo community.

University Forum

Due to the crowded schedule on Aug. 19, it was necessary to postpone my State of the University address to the university community. Please join us for the University Forum Thursday, Sept. 4 at 3:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center Recital Hall.
