Welcome

The cabinet and deans join me in extending a warm welcome to students and employees who join us for the first time this spring semester. Thank you for your investment of time and resources in Viterbo. We trust you have experienced Franciscan hospitality during your first weeks and will soon, if not already, feel an integral part of the Viterbo community. Welcome back to all with best wishes for a great semester. Think spring!

Spring Enrollments

The census enrollment for spring 2016 will be reported as of Friday, Jan. 22. Therefore, the official enrollment report for the semester will appear in a subsequent issue of Connections. Registrations as of this date appear to be on target with the revised goals for full-time undergraduate, and part-time undergraduate. CAL and graduate enrollments are likewise consistent with expectations.

Board of Trustees Meeting Jan. 25

The Board of Trustees will meet Monday, Jan. 25. Please extend a warm greeting to trustees you may encounter. The primary action item for the trustees will be the approval of the preliminary budget guidelines for 2016–17, which include tuition and fee rates for next year. I have scheduled a University Forum on Thursday, Feb. 11 from 3:30–4:30 p.m. to share with the community the guidelines and fees approved by the board.
