Presentation by Survivor Eva Schloss Highlights Holocaust Events this Week

Holocaust survivor Eva Schloss, Anne Frank’s childhood friend, will present “Hiding, Betrayal, Survival: The Life and Times of Anne Frank and Eva Schloss” to an overflow Fine Arts Center audience at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 26. Click for information on Schloss’ incredible story.

Her presentation is one of the many Holocaust education events taking place on campus this week. In addition to the annual Holocaust Educators Workshop the Viterbo community is invited to attend these two events:

  • Tuesday, March 24 at 4:30 p.m. in the Reinhart Center Board Room: Abraham Haim, Ph.D., President of the Council of the Sephardi Community of Jerusalem, will officially present faculty member Jesús Jambrina, world languages and cultures, with the prestigious Medal of the Four Synagogues in recognition of Jambrina’s research on the Medieval Jewish heritage of Zamora, Spain.
  • Wednesday, March 25 from 1–3 p.m. Library room 233: Haim will be available to meet and talk with employees and students.
