The Viterbo community is invited to attend the presentation “The Positive Side of Adversity” by Bill McDade, M.D., from 12:30–1 p.m. with questions to follow Wednesday, Sept. 10 in the School of Nursing Building room 196.
McDade is an orthopedic surgeon who will tell his inspirational story of the life lessons he learned after he was diagnosed with a chronic disease.
“My disease has taught me mental strength, endurance, persistence, compassion for others, the importance of family and good friends who have supported me and the great doctors at the clinic,” McDade said.
The presentation is sponsored by Mayo Clinic Health System, Franciscan Healthcare in collaboration with WisconZone 2014.
