Congratulations to Viterbo senior elementary education major Livi Pappadopoulos, who received the Outstanding College Student Award at the YWCA Tribute to Outstanding Women event Oct. 26. The award, which comes with a $1,000 scholarship, is given annually “to a woman in the Coulee Region who demonstrated their commitment to the YWCA’s mission through their school, community activities, volunteerism, and/or leadership experience.”
Stated the YWCA: “Aside from her personal accolades and championship awards in the sport of logrolling, Livi Pappadopoulos exemplifies what it means to be a strong athlete and advocate for other women and girls. A six-time world champion, Livi has dedicated her time to personal improvement, yet she also prioritizes the success of others, especially young women interested in the sport. Through leading by example and teaching others how to be strong, fierce, and respectful, she has impacted the lives of countless girls within the Coulee Region logrolling program.”
