The 14 members of Viterbo’s first cohort of the Online MBA in Health Care Leadership program were on campus last weekend for a two and a half day intensive campus experience. Some interesting facts about the cohort:
- Eight students have an educational background in a health care related field. Their undergraduate degrees include exercise science, community health education, radiation therapy (two), biology (two), nursing, and health care management. Other undergraduate degrees include: English, integrated studies, technical education and training, business administration (two), mass communications, and business administration. Two students have also earned medical degrees from University of Iowa and New York University, and another holds a Master of Jurisprudence in Health Law from Loyola University.
- Three of the students are Viterbo alumni, four hold degrees from Colgate University, Central College, Johns Hopkins University, and Wisconsin Lutheran College; and seven earned degrees from state universities (five from the University of Wisconsin system and two from Winona State University).
- The students range in age from 24–56 with an average age of 36.
- The two students who live farthest from campus work together at UroPartners, LLC, in Chicago.
