The 2014 Nursing Career Fair is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 6 from noon-3:30 p.m. in the School of Nursing Building room 195 and lobby. Nurse recruiters from regional health care facilities will be on campus to share information about available internship and employment positions in their health care facilities. 

All junior and senior nursing students are encouraged to attend the fair. It will provide opportunities to explore the job market, practice engaging in conversations with professional recruiters, and gather leads related to potential internships or nursing positions. 

First-year and second-year nursing students are invited to increase familiarity with career fairs and explore CNA and other caregiver positions at several local facilities seeking CNAs.

Students should bring copies of employer-ready resumes to the fair. Two resume assistance presentations are scheduled for nursing students in the School of Nursing Building room 201: 

• Tuesday, Oct. 28 at 5:30 p.m.


• Thursday, Oct. 30 at 4 p.m.

Drop-in assistance is available at Resume Review Booths in the School of Nursing Building Lobby. Interested nursing students should bring a hard copy of their resume for critique by career services staff members to a booth at one of the following times:

• Wednesday, Oct. 29 from 3-4:30 p.m.


• Tuesday, Nov. 4 from 4-5:30 p.m.
