The Center for Student Success (CSS) is excited to announce a new peer mentor program that will begin in the fall. The purpose of the program is to promote social and academic enrichment and development of first year students. Goals include:

• Increasing student engagement and involvement in learning
• Increasing campus connection
• Providing emotional support
• Helping students identify and use campus resources

All incoming students will be invited to participate in the Peer Mentor program, and mentors are needed. CSS will collaborate with new student orientation to recruit and hire mentors. Peer Mentors will be required to serve as Orientation Leaders and can apply for both positions at http://www.viterbo.edu/new-student-orientation/orientation-leader-application.

Email Kristen Nyholm to nominate a student for the Peer Mentor and/or Orientation Leader position. Applications are due Friday, April 8 at noon.
