MIKE TOOMEY’S TV & ME AT VITERBO UNIVERSITY MARCH 28

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Join Mike Toomey on a journey back to 1960s and 1970s television as he presents TV & Me at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 28 in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.

Toomey grew up “glued to the tube.” During his show, he explains how his childhood television viewing shaped his adult life, while sharing unique observations about his favorite programs and characters. This multimedia presentation features over 300 slides and sound bites with Toomey’s dead-on impersonations of everyone’s favorite TV characters.

“Michael, congratulations to you for succeeding and making people laugh all over the country,” said Henry Winkler, who played The Fonz on the classic television show Happy Days.

Once told by his elementary school principal, “No one ever made a career out of watching television,” Toomey has made it his life mission to prove her wrong. TV & Me is a “must-see” for all members of the TV generation.

This performance is part of Viterbo’s NexStar Season and is sponsored in part by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts. KQEG TV is the media sponsor.

Tickets are $34 for main floor, $30 for lower balcony, and $24 for upper balcony seating. For more information or to order tickets, contact the Viterbo box office at 608-796-3100 or visit www.viterbo.edu/tickets.
