MICHELLE KRONFELD NAMED VICE PRESIDENT FOR ENROLLMENT MANAGEMENT AT VITERBO UNIVERSITY

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Michelle Kronfeld has been named Vice President for Enrollment Management at Viterbo University. She will begin her duties Monday, Feb. 13.

Following a national search, Kronfeld was selected for this new position at Viterbo. She will lead the university’s recruitment, retention, and marketing efforts.

Currently the director of graduate admissions and services at St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa, Kronfeld will bring experience in traditional and graduate admissions, veteran recruitment and services, strategic enrollment planning, and digital marketing to Viterbo University.

“Michelle’s collaborative nature and enthusiasm for private, Catholic, liberal arts education will serve us well as she integrates Viterbo’s enrollment management team,” said Viterbo President Glena Temple, who cited the search committee and the consultants from Academic Search for their good work in the search process. “I know she will be a great asset to the university.”

Kronfeld earned a Bachelor of Science in International Business with a finance concentration with a minor in Spanish from Illinois State University. She also has an MBA from St. Ambrose University, and a Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Leadership Studies from the University of Iowa.

“I’m thrilled to be joining Viterbo University and I look forward to building an enrollment management community in partnership with the staff, faculty and administration,” Kronfeld said. “I felt such warmth, despite the sub-zero temperatures, when I was on campus in December and know I will feel right at home.”
