Previous employer and position/Past experience as related to current position: I worked four years in the athletics department at Wisconsin Lutheran and interned one year with the sports information director. I then spent two years as a graduate assistant for athletic communications at Edgewood College.

Hometown: Appleton

Why did you choose Viterbo as your next employer? Everything about Viterbo intrigued me when I was looking for a job. It had the same small college feel that I was used to and was in a terrific location. When I came for my interview I saw the terrific campus and everyone I met was wonderful.

Of the five Viterbo values, which resonates with you most and why? I would say service—working for the common good in the spirit of humility and joy. We are all here for the same reason and that is comforting. Both of the universities I came from are religious affiliated and seeing that Viterbo’s core values are very similar to my own made me feel at home.

Hobbies: In my spare time (if I have any), I enjoy playing golf and being outdoors. It is my job to be around sports every day but that is what I like to do in my free time as well.

Anything about your family you would like to share: I am nearly one-year engaged. My fiancée and I will be getting married next June.
