Matt Fradd to Present “The Love that Satisfies” Oct. 20

Thursday, October 15, 2015

Catholic speaker Matt Fradd will present “The Love that Satisfies” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20 in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.

All young people have at least this in common—they desire joy. Joy is impossible without love, and romantic love is impossible without chastity. In this high-energy presentation, Fradd proposes that the virtue of chastity is for those who desire joy and that any sexual relationship devoid of this virtue will always disappoint. Backed up with compelling statistics and engaging personal stories, Fradd challenges audience members to open their minds and hearts and embrace the Catholic Church’s teachings on human sexuality.

Fradd experienced profound conversion at World Youth Day in Rome in 2000 and afterward committed himself to inviting others to know Christ and the church Christ founded. He speaks to about 100,000 people every year and has been a guest on BBC, EWTN, ABC, and Catholic Answers Live. He is the founder of the Porn Effect, www.theporneffect.com, a website dedicated to exposing the reality behind the fantasy of pornography and offering help to those who are seeking sexual freedom.

Fradd works for Covenant Eyes, an apostolate dedicated to helping to protect families from the dangers of Internet pornography.

This presentation is part of the D.B. Reinhart Institute for Ethics in Leadership’s fall lecture series and is co-sponsored by Pro-Life Wisconsin and Viterbo’s V-Hawks for Life. It is free and open to the public. No tickets are necessary, but seating is limited. For a full schedule of D.B. Reinhart Institute for Ethics in Leadership events, visit www.viterbo.edu/ethics.
