LITTLE RIVER BAND TO PERFORM AT VITERBO UNIVERSITY NOV. 8

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Experience one of the greatest vocal bands of the 1970s and 1980s as Little River Band brings their more than two decades of chart-topping hits to the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8.

With worldwide album and CD sales of more than 30 million, the Grammy-nominated Little River Band’s hits include classics such as Reminiscing, Lady, Cool Change, Lonesome Loser, The Night Owls, Take it Easy on Me, We Too, Man on Your Mind, and Help is on its Way.

In 1982, Little River Band became the first band to have Top 10 hits for six consecutive years. According to BMI, Reminiscing has achieved rare status with over five million air plays on American radio, and Lady is close behind with four million.

The late Glenn Frey, a founding member of the Eagles, described Little River Band as “the best singing band in the world.” The current lineup of Little River Band takes that accolade to heart each time they perform. The band enjoys watching their fans fall in love with the songs all over again as they are swept up by the show’s powerful performance and the volume of hits.
