The participants in Service Saturday with the Sisters Jan. 21. Sixty-eight Viterbo volunteers served alongside members of the FSPA packing 30 alphabet-soup-in-a-jar meals for Boys and Girls Club families, creating more than 150 valentines for veterans at the Tomah VA and residents at Hillview Care Center, sewing more than 40 sweater mittens for the Salvation Army, assembling several dozen hygiene kits for area homeless, tying 16 kids’ blankets and writing encouraging notes for Project Linus, and putting Valentines cookie care packages together for guests at the Warming Center. Viterbo volunteers were also able to spend quality time with the sisters hearing their stories and learning about their legacy of service.
