“There are many stories and lessons that I will take with me far beyond my time at Viterbo, I will be a leader and teammate in everything I do.”
Jasper Duberry liked to joke that one of two things were always in his hands—a basketball or a video camera. Such was life for a college basketball player majoring in studio art with an emphasis on video editing. Duberry quickly discovered that the “athletics department was a family.” It was something that was confirmed many times during his career as a basketball player and a student, and was part of what made his experience at Viterbo great. He even received the NAIA Champions of Character Award. “The support of my benefactors helped me to have a successful career in the classroom, but it also gave me the chance to live my dream of playing college basketball.”
