How long do I keep my email and/or VitNet Account(s) after I leave Viterbo?

For students in a traditional "on-campus" type program taking undergrad/grad classes:

Email accounts are kept active for 18-months after you leave Viterbo (graduate, transfer, or withdraw).  After the 18-month window has passed, an email warning is sent out stating when the account will be disabled/removed, which is 1-month from the warning email's date.  A 2nd email warning is sent 2-weeks prior to the account being removed.  Once the full month warning period has passed, the email account is disabled/removed (this also includes and removes VitNet and Moodle access).  If you have forgotten your username, you can look it up here:  www.viterbo.edu/username

For forgotten passwords:  www.viterbo.edu/reset-password

For students in a non-traditional "licensure" type program, renewing a teacher's license or certificate:

There is no email account associated with these types of accounts, but there is a VitNet and Moodle Account.   Any student that has taken a Licensure/Certificate type course after January 2012 will have a VitNet/Moodle Account.  These accounts are never removed.  If you don't know your username/password, you can look it up here:  www.viterbo.edu/ocusername

If you took classes prior to 2012, then you would need to order an Official Transcript from the Registrar's Page:  www.viterbo.edu/registrar

For any Licensure/Certificate Students that change and enter an "on-campus" program, you would then receive an email account, and that account would fall in to the 18-month removal category once you leave Viterbo (graduate, transfer, or withdraw).
