HIGH SCHOOL VOLUNTEERS TO BE RECOGNIZED AT VITERBO
UNIVERSITY APRIL 14

LA
CROSSE, Wis. – Forty-seven outstanding students from area high schools
will be honored at the 18th Annual Volunteer Recognition Event at 7 p.m.
Monday, April 14 in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Lobby.

Volunteers representing eight area
schools will be present: La Crosse Aquinas, La Crosse Central, La Crosse Logan,
La Crescent, Holmen, West Salem, Onalaska High School, and Providence Academy
will be recognized. Senior Viterbo student Elizabeth Eckert, who will be
presented with the President’s Award in honor of her outstanding service to the
community, will provide remarks on the value of volunteerism.

Students are nominated for
recognition by their respective schools as a means to encourage the individual
and collaborative efforts of young people who contribute to bettering their
communities.
