Guest pianist Roger McVey will perform a recital at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 18 in the Fine Arts Center Recital Hall.

McVey is an assistant professor of piano at the University of Idaho, where he teaches applied piano and piano literature. He has previously taught at the University of Kansas, the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, Mercer University, and Georgia College and State University. He holds degrees in piano performance from the University of Kansas, Indiana University, and East Carolina University. He has performed as a soloist and collaborative pianist throughout the U.S., in Europe, Asia, Cyprus, New Zealand, and Mexico.

The event is free and open to the public.
