Global Initiatives Week Friday, Nov. 6–Friday, Nov. 13, is an annual week of public events designed to increase global awareness and inspire local action in the greater La Crosse region. It will not only be a celebration of the cultural, social, and economic value of our community worldwide, but will also inform and educate local businesses and individuals about the vital global ties that exist within our community and the tremendous impact of these connections on the area.

Viterbo will host programs during the week, such as Global Rhythms International Dance Night at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6 in the Caf, a Mala Bead Workshop at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10 in the School of Nursing Building room 195, a Not My Life documentary screening at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11 in the School of Nursing Buildng room 195, and spoken word artist Carlos Andres Gomez at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12 in the Fine Arts Center Recital Hall.
