Maria Morgan-Bathke, nutrition and dietetics, took a group of nursing and dietetics students to Camp Marrakesh last weekend. This is a camp put on by the American Diabetes Association for children and families that have recently been diagnosed with Type I diabetes. “All of the students did a great job working with the kids and the veteran volunteers at the camp had nothing but positive things to say about our Viterbo volunteers,” Morgan-Bathke said.
