First Generation Conversation Today

Thursday, April 9, 2015

The Student Support Services (TRiO) program is hosting the First Generation Conversation from 4–5 p.m. Monday, April 13 in the School of Nursing Building room 195.

This is an opportunity for any first-generation students to talk with and hear about the experiences of other first-generation Viterbo students. This session will also include some information about the opportunities for students to participate in internships, study abroad, and summer research. Snacks will be provided, and attendees will be eligible for a drawing for a $50 gift card.

Students are considered first generation if neither of their parents graduated with a bachelor’s degree. Approximately 45 percent of Viterbo students are considered first generation. Employees are asked to encourage first generation students to attend this event.
