First-generation college students are recognized nationally this week, and at Viterbo the week is also dedicated to all Viterbo first-generation students and employees.

Viterbo received a TRIO/Student Support Services grant that provides support for 200 first- generation students. Throughout the week, students from the TRIO/SSS program will be looking for fliers outside offices of faculty and other employees who indicate they were first-generation college students. 

All employees are asked to wear a sticker showing support of first generation students. Stickers and fliers can be picked up in the Academic Resource Center or from administrative assistants in each academic building.
