Dimitar’s Story

Macedonia native Dimitar Dzikov said he would definitely recommend Viterbo University and the Dahl School of Business for several reasons—the faculty have a great deal of real world experience, the personal attention and close relationships that develop between students and faculty members, the academic resources available, the small class sizes, and the beautiful campus.

“Attending Viterbo University was a priceless experience,” he said.

Dzikov took a job as a teller at Wells Fargo in downtown La Crosse. He was determined to do his very best each day and rise through the ranks of the company. To help him accomplish his goal in a competitive market, he enrolled in Viterbo’s MBA program.

“The discussions, debates, conversations, group projects, and the support of fellow students in the cohort offer an education much more than any textbook can provide,” he said.

He was promoted several times at Wells Fargo, from teller to personal banker to service manager, and now branch manager.

“The fact that I get to work with people, help them develop and grow, and pass on the things I’ve learned about being a servant leader from Viterbo is what makes my career enjoyable every single day,” he said.
