COOKING WITH THE CALAMARI SISTERS AT VITERBO OCT. 26

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Audience members will laugh out loud at the hilarity, failed dishes, and food fights that ensue during this production depicting a live broadcast of a public access cooking show in Cooking with the Calamari Sisters at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26 in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.

Cooking with the Calamari Sisters features two larger-than-life Italian sisters, Delphine and Carmela Calamari. The sisters sing and dance to beloved Italian favorites such as Volare, Come On-a My House, Botcha Me, Que Sera Sera, That’s Amore, and Mambo Italiano! as they try to make it through their final broadcast together in one piece.

This performance opens Viterbo’s 2014–15 NexStar Season and is sponsored by US Bank and in part by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board, with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts. Mid-West Family Broadcasting is the media sponsor.
