COLE PORTER CLASSIC MUSICAL ANYTHING GOES TO BE PERFORMED AT VITERBO UNIVERSITY JAN. 20

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Audiences will be “All Aboard!” for the Cole Porter comedy Anything Goes at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20 in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.

Anything Goes is a timeless classic featuring some of music theatre’s most memorable songs, including I Get a Kick Out of You, You’re the Top, and the title song Anything Goes. It won three 2011 Tony Awards, including Best Musical Revival and Best Choreography.

The New York Times describes Anything Goes as “Musical Comedy Joy” and the USA Today calls it “Glorious and Exuberant!”

When the S.S. American heads out to sea, etiquette and convention get tossed out the portholes as two unlikely pairs set off on the course to true love, proving that sometimes destiny needs a little help from a crew of singing sailors, an exotic disguise, and some good, old-fashioned blackmail.

This performance is part of Viterbo’s Bright Star Season and is sponsored by La Crosse Graphics, Mayo Clinic Health System, and in part by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts. Soft Rock 101.1 FM KHME is the media sponsor.

Tickets are $52 for main floor, $46 for lower balcony, and $39 for upper balcony seating. For more information or to order tickets, contact the Viterbo box office at 608-796-3100 or visit www.viterbo.edu/tickets.
