CANTUS VOCAL ENSEMBLE TO PERFORM AT VITERBO APRIL 12

CROSSE, Wis. – Cantus Vocal Ensemble, described as “the premier men’s vocal
ensemble in the United States” by Fanfare
magazine, will present the concert “A Place for Us” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday,
April 12 in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.

“A Place for Us” is a celebration of
the country’s national identity told through songs and stories, featuring folk
songs, spirituals, and music by Leonard Bernstein, Antonin Dvorak, and Jean
Sibelius.

Cantus is praised around the world
for their programmatic versatility, artistic excellence, and charismatic
personality.

This performance is part of Viterbo’s Bright Star
Season and is sponsored by Drs. John and Kerrie Moore in part by a grant from
the Wisconsin Arts Board, with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the
National Endowment for the Arts. Wisconsin Public Radio is the media sponsor.

Tickets are $35 for main floor, $31 for lower balcony,
