Busy Student Retreat Offers Daily Prayer Activities, Spiritual Direction

Tuesday, October 21, 2014

To help students focus on their prayer life and help them implement it in their busy daily routines, the Franciscan Spirituality Center and Viterbo’s Campus Ministry are offering a Busy Student Retreat.

The retreat starts Sunday, Sept. 21, and continues through Thursday, Oct. 2, and is designed to fit around each student’s schedule. The retreat includes both individual and evening community prayer, four meetings with a spiritual director and supper with the Sisters of St. Rose Convent, among other activities.

With traditional retreats, people need to schedule time off from work and school. But this type of retreat allows students to participate while keeping to their normal daily routine.

The cost is $10. Registration deadline is Wednesday, Sept. 17. For more information contact Emilio Alvarez of Campus Ministry at ebalvarez@viterbo.edu.
