“Bows and Arrows” Exhibit Featuring the Works of Jason Skoog to Open in Viterbo University Gallery Sept. 3

An exhibit of artwork by Jason Skoog, library, will open the 2014–15 season of the Viterbo University Gallery with a reception from 7:30–9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3.


“Bows and Arrows” will feature mixed media works on paper using a variety of materials such as ink, colored pencil, acrylic, gouache, and charcoal; digital prints; and small horse drawings inspired by his rural Minnesota home.


Skoog’s work has been featured in the publications New American Paintings and Little Paper Planes and numerous exhibitions, including the Palm Springs Art Museum 39th Annual National Juried Exhibition, the 31st Bradley International Print and Drawing Exhibition, the Visual Arts Society of Texas 40th Annual Visual Arts, and has been featured twice in Art Kudos International Juried Art Competition and Exhibition.

The exhibit will run until Friday, Sept. 19. There is no admission fee to the gallery, which is located on the third floor of the Fine Arts Center. The gallery is open from 9 a.m.–5 p.m. when school is in session.
