UNIVERSITY TO PERFORM 1970'S FOLK CONCERT FEB. 5

CROSSE, Wis. – Audience favorite Jim Witter and his band will return to
Viterbo University to perform Jim
Witter’s Coffee House at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5 in the Fine Arts
Center Main Theatre.
Jim
Witter’s Coffee House celebrates the folk hits of music legends James
Taylor, Gordon Lightfoot, Jim Croce, and many more. It features outstanding
music, storytelling, and a nostalgic trip down memory lane.
This appearance is Witter’s fifth at
Viterbo. He and his band have performed The
Piano Men and The Piano Men II featuring
the music of Billy Joel and Elton John, Feelin’
Groovy—A Musical Journey through the 60s featuring the Music of Simon and
Garfunkel, and The Long and Winding
Road: The Music of Lennon and McCartney, all to rave reviews.
Jim Witter’s
Coffee House is a Viterbo special
presentation. It is sponsored by Firefighters Credit Union and in part by a
grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board, with funds from the State of Wisconsin and
the National Endowment for the Arts. WXOW News 19 is the media sponsor and Stoney
Creek Inn Onalaska is the hotel sponsor.
