The Seven Rivers Undergraduate Research Symposium on Friday, Nov. 4 will feature over 210 registered student and faculty participants from 12 institutions across the U.S.
All unregistered faculty, staff, students, and community members are welcome to attend portions of the day, including the keynote address from 10:10–11:20 a.m., the oral presentations from noon–2 p.m., and the poster sessions from 2–4 p.m.
“Thanks in advance for considering supporting the students and faculty mentors who have spent considerable amounts of time preparing presentations as well as taking in some wonderful research and creative work,” said Kirsten Gabriel, Honors Program and academic affairs.
A repository of Seven Rivers alternative assignments from a variety of disciplinary perspectives is also being created. Faculty giving students an assignment related to Seven Rivers are asked consider emailing it to Kirsten Gabriel so it can be added to the collection. If you’re considering an assignment and are interested in seeing what others have done, contact her as well.
