Living on-campus
Traditional first-year and sophomore students are required to live on campus, with only a few exceptions, per our residency requirement.
To reserve your place in the residence halls, apartments (undergraduate transfer students), and in our class, please complete the following steps:
- Log into your Viterbo account at www.viterbo.edu/o365. This link will open a new window. (Don’t know your username or password? Click here.)
- Once logged in, return to this page and use this link to complete the housing and dining services agreement. Students under 18 years old: near the bottom of the form, you will be asked to include a parent/guardian email. Please do so and then e-sign the agreement yourself. Your agreement will not be complete until your parent/guardian accesses their emailed link and also e-signs the agreement.
- Pay your housing and tuition deposits. Deposits are $100 each, totaling $200. Both deposits credit toward your first semester bill.
- Check your Viterbo University email account for an invitation to The Housing Director (THD), Viterbo's housing software. This program will allow you to find a roommate, select your housing, access your on-campus mailbox information, and more. For incoming fall students that have completed steps 1-3 above, invitations generally begin in December and continue throughout the winter and spring on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional information on housing selection and options can be found here.
Living off-campus
Students planning to live off-campus are required to pay a $100 tuition deposit. The deposit will credit toward the first semester bill.
Off-campus students wanting a meal plan may learn more about their options here. Plans do vary year to year, and plan specifics for next year may not be listed quite yet.
Deposit refund policy
If you need to withdraw your admission and you have a deposit on file, a refund can be issued if you let Admissions know in writing before the refund deadline. For fall 2024, because of the delays in receiving FAFSA data from the U.S. Department of Education, the refund deadline is June 1, 2024. For spring 2025, the refund deadline is January 1, 2025. Please complete the Official Request to Cancel Application form to begin that process.
