Method to be used by Viterbo University to determine which students received HEERF III
Emergency Financial Aid Grants, and the amount they will receive:
- Viterbo University will first identify undergraduate and graduate students who were enrolled at least half-time in a degree or certificate program on January 27, 2023, and who had a 2022-2023 FAFSA on file in the Viterbo University financial aid office and were eligible for Title IV aid, as students who may receive HEERF III Emergency Financial Aid Grants. HEERF III Emergency Financial Aid Grants will be given to undergraduate students and graduate students with exceptional financial need, based on expected family contribution (EFC).
- Each student who will receive a HEERF III Emergency Financial Aid Grant will receive notification via email of the award amount, disbursement method, and expected timing of the disbursement. Students will be advised that they will be permitted to use HEERF III Emergency Financial Aid Grants to make payment toward student account balances, and will be provided with instructions on how to do so.
- Grant amounts will vary, dependent upon undergraduate vs. graduate status, full-time vs. less than full-time status for undergraduate students, and dependency status for undergraduate students.
